    Employed in the Ophthalmology Division of the Institute for Childhood from 1 December 1994 to 31 July 1995, from 14 August 1995 to 13 April 1996, from 2 May 1996 to 1 January 1997, from 5 March 1997 to 5 November 1997, from 12 May 1998 to 11 January 1999, and from 30 February 1999 to 30 September 1999 as an Assigned Assistant and later as a full-time first-level manager.


    From 1 October 1999 to 31 December 2015, served as a permanent medical director at the S.C. of Ophthalmology of the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo Institute in Trieste. Subsequently on leave granted by the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo under Law No. 183 of 04.11.2010, Article 18, from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016.


    From 1 October 2004 to 31 December 2015, held a managerial position under Article 27, letter C of the CCNL for Medical and Veterinary Management dated 08/06/2000, high professionalism group of second level called "Strabology and chemodenervation with botulinum toxin" at the S.C. of Ophthalmology and visual-motor rehabilitation of the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo Institute in Trieste.


    Freelance position at the University Hospital of Udine for outpatient activities and outpatient laser treatments of 12 hours per week from 16 January 2016 to 15 July 2016. Author of numerous national and international publications.


    As the lead surgeon, performed approximately 100 cataract surgeries with IOL implantation in adults and around 40 surgeries for congenital and infantile cataracts with IOL implantation. As the lead surgeon, performed about 500 surgical procedures for strabismus correction in both paediatric and adult patients, including the use of botulinum toxin. As the lead surgeon, performed various refractive surgeries using excimer laser.

    Treatment of strabismus in children and adults with traditional surgery and botulinum toxin injection.

    • Micro-surgery of the anterior segment, particularly cataract removal surgeries in both children and adults.
    • Medical contactology.
    • Paediatric ophthalmology.

    • Laser treatment of vision defects.
    • Surgical treatment of lacrimal duct obstruction in children.
