Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Trieste and qualified in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at A.M.A.B. – Italian-Chinese School of Acupuncture, with a Master’s degree obtained at the China Nanjing International Acupuncture Medical Training Centre (Nanjing, China).

The practice of Acupuncture, a cornerstone but not the only element of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is strictly a medical procedure.

WHAT I DO

Targeted consultations for the treatment of musculoskeletal, osteotendinous, and neural issues (headaches, post-herpetic pain), gynaecological problems (issues related to the menstrual cycle, pregnancy nausea, endometriosis, support for fertility), gastrointestinal issues (gastro-oesophageal reflux, heartburn, nausea, irritable bowel syndrome), as well as emotional disturbances (anxiety, insomnia, depression), with a focus on the overall well-being of the individual and support for fertility.

Alternative techniques

Although acupuncture is the mainstay of the therapy, in this practice Dr. Tesser also employs other techniques specific to Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as moxibustion, cupping, auriculotherapy and auricular acupuncture, electroacupuncture, and massage techniques like guasha and tuina.

Treatments are always preceded by a medical consultation, after which, if the outcome is favourable, the first therapeutic session may follow immediately. Individual treatments can be scheduled differently depending on the issue and are arranged as needed.
