• 4 years of work attendance at the Dermatology Specialisation School in Trieste.
• Work experience abroad: in Slovenia at the hospitals of Ljubljana and Izola, and in South America (Ecuador) in Guayaquil.
• Worked for 2 years as a dermatologist at the Gorizia Prison.
• Since 2001, she has been serving in districts 1 and 3 of the Trieste Health Authority and conducts her private practice on Via del Rivo.
• Currently affiliated with the multidisciplinary clinic Casa della Salute Ippocrate, where she provides care and prevention activities in her field as a dermatologist.
• Since 2013, she has been employed as a dermatologist at the local polyclinic, Zdravstveni dom Nova Gorica (3 days a week).
• Languages Spoken:Besides Italian, she speaks Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian, and English fluently; she has basic knowledge of Spanish.
• Examinations: Mapping of nevi using traditional dermatoscopy.
• Performs all minor outpatient surgery (cauterisation with radio-scalpel of fibromas/angiomas, cryotherapy of warts and keratoses), excision of nevi, and skin biopsy. She also deals with aesthetic medicine: performing facial contouring with botulinum toxin, facial and neck biorevitalisation, and various types of facial peels for photo-rejuvenation as well as for acne treatment.
• Offers aesthetic consultancy and skin care within a multidisciplinary team (nutritionist, vascular surgeon for varicose veins and capillaries, psychologist, physiotherapist).
• Expert in the field of oncological dermatology, particularly in the prevention and diagnosis of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. Other areas of expertise include paediatric dermatology, allergy, and immunology.
