WHO I AM

I graduated in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois (USA) in 1996 and in Human Biology in 1998. I developed a passion for the study of human movement and its bio-psycho-social effects on health. These holistic concepts motivated me to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, obtaining my master's degree in 2000. The training I received ensures a comprehensive approach to neuro-musculoskeletal disorders, with particular emphasis on the spine.

I completed various internships, both academic and public-professional, which strengthened my experience in the assessment, management, and care of patients. Subsequently, I worked at the Chicago Neck and Back Institute, collaborating as a "chiropractic physician" in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. This valuable experience prepared me for the significant turning point in my life: moving to Italy, to Trieste, in 2001, and the opportunity to collaborate with a well-known healthcare facility affiliated with the National Health Service (NHS). I am proud to have served as a chiropractor for the Trieste community until June 2019.

Currently, I am a freelance practitioner and work exclusively with the Casa della Salute Ippocrate in Trieste. I am part of a team of professionals with a vision of an integrated approach aimed at promoting the health of our patients. I offer my years of experience in assessment, management, care, prevention, and performance for individuals ranging from pre-adolescents to the elderly.

Our multidisciplinary approach, which places the person at the centre, will proactively assist in addressing neuromusculoskeletal pain and dysfunctions, helping to regain confidence and autonomy in movement to achieve maximum functional capacity.
